The other day Cameron arrived about the time we were having breakfast. Sally had decided on French Toast, Cameron decided on cereal. "No, Cameron, we're having French Toast".
That brought back pleasant memories of cooking short-order Saturday breakfast for my family every once in a while. I had done it for the staff of the scout camp I cooked for one summer, and it was a lot of fun.
Well short-order cooking for my 9 was fun, too, and a lot of work, and a lot of mess.

Post a picture of it, you know, with the apron and all!

LOL If I had even the foggiest idea where all that stuff was, and could get to it, I would ;)
I don't remember getting you to make anything we wanted. I just remember that we were allowed to request any kind of eggs we wanted when that's what we were having. I do remember unless it was donuts or cinnamon rolls, you mostly made Saturday morning breakfast.
Every once in a while, on a Saturday morning, I would make just about anything, not counting cinnamon rolls or donuts. That could be eggs any style, toast, pancakes, waffles, french toast, juice, hot chocolate, etc.
Ruth has all the family pictures... the trick is going to be getting a hold of her to GET the pictures!
